My name is Tamara and I live in Orange County with my 10 year old sonMy passion for real estate began when I was young, I remember drawing up floor plans and ‘designing’ homes for a happy stick figure family. My love for homes continued to grow in High School when I worked as a model home sales assistant for William Lyon Homes in Aliso Viejo. I then moved to Utah where I received my degree in Human Development and Family Studies from BYU. After college I worked as a group home program coordinator for people with disabilities. During this time it was time for me to embark on my own home buying journey. While applying for a home mortgage, I was offered a job from the broker I was working with to become his assistant. I happily accepted the job and became fascinated by the mortgage industry. I then became a loan processor, loan officer, and then my own mortgage broker. From here I decided to get my Real Estate license, and I began purchasing properties to renovate for resale and property management.
As you can see, real estate has always been a strong theme in my life. My passion is serving people in whatever I am doing. I truly love matching the perfect home to a family….be that a single man, a married couple with kids…whatever family looks like- I love to listen your needs and then match you with your perfect home!
Outside of real estate you can find me volunteering at my son’s school, white water river rafting, enjoying the beach, skiing, and doing yoga. California truly is the perfect place to call home.
My love for community started young. I grew up in Tustin- within a community called Tustin Meadows with 934 homes. I went to Tiny Tots which is a co op preschool, I swam on our community swim team and I was a lifeguard in High School. As an adult I served as our HOA Vice President, Pools Director, Liaison to Tiny Tots and Dolphins Swim Team.
A dear friend and I host “Victory Fridays” which is an after school playdate at Victory Park in Tustin Legacy. We’ve done it every Friday since the school open almost 3 years ago. It’s a potluck event where parents bring food, kids play and it’s actually become the adults play date now. Sometimes we have adults without kids. We celebrate birthdays with balloons and treats— I love being a part of people’s lives and I consider it an honor to be a part of your home-buying story.
I am excited to bring Juncal Real Estate’s beach boutique style to my local Orange County market. I’m even more excited to use my experience and love for the process to help you on your home buying/selling journey. Let’s get started!
